Age pigmentation
Age pigmentation, often referred to as liver spots, solar lentigins, melanosis, dark circles, vary in size and shape and can often be seen on the hands, shoulders, face, and arms appeared due to over to the sun. They are brown to black, flat, and can be tan. They are commonly seen in elderly people but can be seen in adults also who used to work in the sun exposed areas. They are generally safe but sometimes can be cancerous.
